Bio

My fascination with all things electronic began when I was 5 years old and I decided to take apart a Commodore 64. I've spent most of my life learning how things work, radios, TV's, computers, game systems, if it had chips and power I was taking it apart and learning how it worked. Once in high school I was able to expand my interests and begin textbook learning. I went on to study electrical engineering at DeVry but decided that computers was my passion.

I've built up a expansive knowledge base due to the variety of technical positions I've held; customer service support with Gateway, networking with G.E. Capital IT Solutions, servers and exchange with Renzenberger Inc. and web design and all of the above with my current position for a city government in my area.

In addition to all the on the job experience i've obtained several certifications including A+, MCP, DCSE, and CCNA. I'm working on furthering my college education and earning my Associates in Computer Information Services.

Along the way I was fortunate to meet and marry a wonderful woman that supports me in all my endeavors and provides assistance with her own skills in design and format. We also have 2 wonderful children that keep us plenty busy.

In the near future I plan to earn a Bachelors in CIS, finish the MCSE and continue to expand my working knowledge base by always taking on new tasks and following industry changes.
